These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Innovation Hub platform at ihub.atopng.com, our member dashboard, learning content, tools, and our physical hub locations (together, the “Hub”). The Hub is operated by Agri-Tech Organics (PNG) Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or entering a hub, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can join
- Anyone aged 16 or over can register. Members under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian, and a parent, guardian or school may be asked to sign a consent form before hub visits.
- Children under 16 may take part in supervised programs (for example school STEM clubs) through a Partner organisation, but may not hold their own account.
- You must give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
2. Your account and membership card
- Your account, membership number and QR membership card are personal to you. Do not share, lend, sell or screenshot your card for someone else to use.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If your phone is lost or you think your card has been copied, use Reissue card in your dashboard straight away. This cancels the old QR code.
- Facilitators may ask for photo ID to confirm that the person presenting a card is the member.
3. Membership tiers and hub access
- Each tier gives access to the courses, resources, tools and hub visits described on the Membership page at the time you join or renew.
- Hub visits are counted per calendar month (Port Moresby time). Unused visits do not roll over.
- Some tiers can only visit their home hub. Access is checked automatically when your card is scanned.
- Hub facilities (rooms, makerspaces, robotics kits, equipment) are subject to availability, opening hours and safety rules, and may need to be booked.
- We may change tier features or prices. Price changes apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you in advance.
4. Payments, renewals and refunds
- Online payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). Paid tiers bill monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from Dashboard → Plan & billing → Manage subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, then move back to the free Explorer tier.
- Pay at hub / bank transfer: your upgrade is activated once a facilitator confirms your payment. Keep your receipt and quote your membership number as the reference.
- Fees are not refundable for part-used periods, except where we cancel your membership without cause, where a service was not provided, or where the law requires a refund. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
- Prices are shown in Papua New Guinean Kina (K) unless stated otherwise and include GST where applicable.
5. Hub code of conduct
Our hubs are shared, safe spaces for learning and building. When you are at a hub or online with us, you agree to:
- Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, bullying, discrimination, violence or threats.
- Follow facilitator instructions and safety rules, especially in makerspaces, robotics labs and around tools and electrical equipment.
- Not attend while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and not bring weapons onto hub premises.
- Look after equipment. You may be asked to pay for damage caused deliberately or through careless misuse.
- Use hub Wi-Fi and computers lawfully: no illegal downloads, hacking, scams, gambling or offensive content.
- Respect privacy: do not photograph or record other members without their permission.
- Protect children and young people. Adults must not be alone with minors in closed rooms, and any concern must be reported to a facilitator.
Breaking the code of conduct can lead to a warning, removal from the hub, suspension of your card, or cancellation of your membership.
6. Learning content and certificates
- Courses, lessons, templates and tools are for your personal learning and business use. You may print and use templates for your own business, but you may not resell, republish or redistribute our content without written permission.
- Certificates of completion show that you completed a course on the Hub. They are not accredited qualifications unless we clearly say so.
- XP, levels and badges have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
7. Information, not professional advice
Our guides, calculators and courses (including information about IPA, IRC, tax, finance, agriculture and law) are general information to help you learn. They are not legal, tax, financial or professional advice, and rules and rates change. Always confirm requirements with the relevant authority or a qualified adviser before making decisions. Links to government agencies and other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
8. Things you share with us
You own the ideas, business plans and work you create. If you post or upload content to the Hub, you give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service. Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
9. Suspension and cancellation
- You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or cancel an account for breach of these Terms, misuse of a membership card, non-payment, fraud, or to protect the safety of members and staff. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We work hard to keep the platform available and the hubs safe, but the platform is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, connectivity or power reasons.
- To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or business decisions you make based on our content or tools. Our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the laws of Papua New Guinea that cannot be excluded.
- Please do not leave valuables unattended at hubs. We are not responsible for personal property that is lost or stolen, except where caused by our negligence.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “last updated” date and, for important changes, notify members by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the Hub after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. We will always try to resolve disputes informally first. If that fails, disputes will be handled by the courts of Papua New Guinea.
